Join us in association with Idaho Rivers United for a unique kind of film festival where there are no entry fees for the films, no entry fees for the show, and live bands at the end. At the Boise River Film Festival we hope to show over 20 short films from professional and armature film makers around the world. Each film is limited to 5 minutes and can be about anything related to water. From canoeing with you kids in a pond, sea kayaking in the open sea, or yes, even whitewater kayaking and rafting.

The top films in both the Professional and Amature divisions will receive cash prizes. But the film makers aren't the only ones that can win, there will be many raffle prizes to give away from Brunton (http://www.brunton.com/), NRS (http://www.nrs.com/), Alpenglow (http://www.alpenglowidaho.com/), plus much much more including the opportunity to have Stone and Water Productions follow you and your crew around for the weekend and shoot a short film of your exploits for you.
The Boise River Film Festival is still seeking film submissions from film makers and aspiring film makers. The only rule is 5 minute limits and you must have rights to the footage you are using. You can even submit more than one film. Email mike@stoneandwaterproductions.com for an entry form to submit. Deadline for film entries is December 28th 2009.
Hope to see you there!
